Broadway Singer | Performer
Jamaal Clark Turpin, a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, has travelled all over North America and Europe with many musicals and operas throughout his artistic career. His current focus is developing new musical projects here in NYC.

As a child, Jamal joined his church youth choir and picked up the the alto sax in the school band that same year—thus began his obsession with music. Fast forward to now, when Jamaal counts serving as a Worship Leader at St. Francis de Sales as one of his favorite opportunities to date—especially because he gets the opportunity to worship with our amazing parish every week!

gregory keith lathan

Singer | Music Minister
A Washington, D.C. native, music has been Gregory Keith Lathan's life from the start. Surrounded by his family's wide range of musical interests, Gregory started singing and studying piano at the age of 5.

In addition to a myriad of professional credits, Gregory has worked with many church-affiliated choirs. He served as Asst. Music Director at Holy Family Catholic Church in Temple Hills, Maryland and spent thirteen years as Music Minister/Choir Director of St. Charles Borromeo/Resurrection Chapel in Harlem where he created a full Mass in his own classical and jazz-infused style.

Gregory heads his own music company, gregariousMUSIC, which launched his second vocal group, Lathan’s Way, a quartet swinging with luscious harmonic versions of Jazz, Soul, Pop, R&B and Gospel/Funk. The musical journey continues.
