SFDS Observes Earth Day: Birdwatching Walk in Central Park

To cap off the day, parishioner and Earth Day advocate Mary Braza will lead a birdwatching walk in Central Park. What better way to celebrate Earth Day than to seek out the 200+ species of birds that live in or migrate through Central Park! How many of God’s wonders can we find right here in our wonderful city of New York…

4:00PM—Meet Mary at the Engineers Gate entrance to Central Park at 90th St. and 5th Ave.
(Bring binoculars if you have them, but Mary can provide a few extras.)

Organized by our Social Justice Ministry

This year’s Earth Day theme is “Protect our Species.” To view resources related to environmental justice and Catholic social teachings, click here.
