Birdwatching Walk in Central Park

  • Central Park Boathouse Park Drive North, E 72nd St New York, NY 10021 (map)

We will meet at the Central Park Boathouse (just west of 5th Avenue and East 72nd Street, inside the park).

Participants are asked to bring bring their own binoculars, and a few pairs will be available to borrow if you don’t have any.

Mary Braza, an SFDS parishioner active in our Social Justice Ministry and avid birder, is leading us in another birdwatching walk in Central Park. Her Earth Day event in April was such a blast that we’re following up with another tour! Fall is peak season to seek out the 200+ species of birds that live in or migrate through Central Park. How many of God’s wonders will we find right here in our wonderful city of New York…
